My research interests center on understanding how animals make complex social decisions. This includes how animals communicate with each other, how an animal’s physiology influences sensory processing, and the neural circuitry involved in behavioral output. In the O’Connell lab, I plan to use integrative methods to examine how tadpoles use social information to make decisions about affiliation and aggression.

When not in the lab, I love anything art-related, especially drawing, painting, and crocheting.
