I am a Biochemistry major at Foothill College and preparing to transfer to another school. I’m also formerly an Environmental Studies major at UCSB where I had research experience in optimizing methods for bioremediation using Trametes versicolor and studying pollutant transport of pharmaceuticals in effluent. My general research interests are epigenetic signatures and the chemical fate/mechanisms in living organisms. I also have curiosities in drug development and the application of biology in formulation and material sciences.

In the lab I work with Neil Khosla and provide flexible support while investigating the evolutionary link between the social environment and neural map in Allobates femoralis juveniles.

Outside work and school (and when the time permits), I enjoy painting, learning apothecary things, swimming and climbing.
