I am interested in the biology of social behavior. Questions that keep me up at night: How does the social environment shape individual behavior? What aspects of the brain mediate adaptation to novel social challenges? Will studying animal behavior help me improve my social skills? In the Lab of Organismal Biology, I am studying the social tendencies of juveniles, using Allobates femoralis tadpoles to investigate the neural basis of social tolerance and aggression.

When I am not tinkering with tadpole-related thoughts, I spend my time reading books, playing music, and walking in circles while talking on the phone.
