I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Marine Biology. In LOBSU, my work focuses on optimizing gene editing techniques in poison frogs with an end goal of expanding the genomics toolbox currently available to the greater amphibian community. I am generally interested in applying genomics to the field of conservation biology. Increasing the visibility of Black women in science is one of my long-term career goals.
I enjoy listening to podcasts and watching basketball in my free time.
